Our take:
It’s the sound on many of the all time greatest recordings of the 70s, Supertramp and the like. It’s like an instant time machine and highlights why vintage gear is so coveted – New stuff just does not sound like that. Even though it’s a reissue, it’s the real deal.
To say it’s great for kick drums and bass, in our opinion does not do it justice.
It’s great for everything. It renders Acoustic Piano, Electric Piano, Voice in such a lyrical way that the track gets elevated musically in an instant!
